I want to start of with a short recap of Part 1 and Part 2 of this article series.
In Part 1, I mentioned a little about women love pain, that they’re not taught
at a young age how to be successful. In Part 2 I talked about lasting success
comes from the things that you value the most. Asking yourself simple “how”
and “what” questions on a daily basis is the key to unlocking your success.
The reason that I say that asking yourself these questions is because we all
have success inside of us, we know what is going to make us happy, what’s
in our heart, what kind of things we want, what we don’t want, what we need
to change to make it happen, and, possibly who we need to ask for help to
attain the success that we want.
It can seem overwhelming and scary. You can only take one step at a time in
order to make things happen. If there’s only one thing that you take away
from reading these articles is that – you are only one person! You can only
do one thing at a time, it’s not possible to be in two places at the same time
and be helping everyone else but yourself. Continue reading
When you learn something new, think about where it would fit into your life.
There’s always new things that you learn all the time, and you might not even realize it.
Take a minute and think about the last time that you learned something new… if you can’t
think of anything right now, that’s OK, give it some time.
Read on so that you can get some ideas on what would work for you.
Have you ever noticed that from the time that girls are babies that they
want to be able to do things by themselves when ever they want to
and not when someone else wants them to. I’m sure you’ve seen it
for yourself or heard about it from family and friends. It’s a really funny
thing to watch, especially if you’re not the parent! 🙂
It continues on through the teenage years and the desire for freedom
becomes even stronger as young teenager girls get to experience life
a lot more: the more freedom they have, the more they want… now
that’s a great thing! Young women recognize the endless
possibilities that exist out there in the world and not only what’s in
the world directly around them. (with a lot of help from social media)
The feel for and meaning of freedom is different for everyone, and that’s where
creativity starts. Once a young woman experiences freedom in her life, there’s
no turning back and when she has her mind set on something… watch out!,
because the creative juices are flowing like a waterfall and she has the power
to do great things and be an influence for good even at this young age. She’s
very aware of her strengths and weaknesses.
Freedom allows the creative juices to start flowing if you let it.
Now move forward into adulthood and it’s time to rock and roll. There’s
something that happens when a teenage girl becomes a young adult and
is out of high school, freedom takes over and she feels unstoppable (and
maybe invincible too). She is not limited by what boundaries her parents
have set for her as a teen, she’s independent now and there’s no turning
There’s an endless list of freedoms that all women can enjoy and do enjoy:
- Freedom to dream
- Freedom to love
- Freedom to feel love
- Freedom to be happy
- Freedom to create
- Freedom to be creative
- Freedom to cry
- Freedom to laugh
- Freedom to sing
- Freedom to dance
- Freedom to hug someone
- Freedom to make someone happy
- Freedom to serve someone
- Freedom to say something nice to someone
And the list goes on … it doesn’t matter where you live in this world, these freedoms
are free; given to everyone from God.
Having and using that freedom is very important, it’s not something to take for granted
for forget about. As soon as a woman stops’ using her freedom to be and do great
things in her life is when she can slip into depression and feel very frustrated.
Not a happy place!
Women Want Freedom! There’s just no if’s, and’s, or but’s about it.
What does freedom mean to you, what freedoms do you value and enjoy right now
in your life?
Make sure that you always remember what freedoms you value and that are
important to you, so that you always live your life with a lot of creativity and can
continue to be unstoppable. Whether you believe that you’re unstoppable or
not, I’m here to tell you that you and all women ARE unstoppable. That’s our
gift as women!
Be free and share your gift!
If you had an extra $1,000.00 a month, what would you do with it?
Women always have amazing ideas about the things that they would love to do with
an extra $1,000.00 a month. I’m pretty sure that you have at least thought about what
you would do with any extra money that you receive. I’ve heard it over and over in
conversations about what women would do with that money, there is no end to the
Now that’s something exciting to imagine!
It’s safe to say that most of that money would go towards paying off a bill or credit
card, buying something that you feel is needed for your child or children, helping an
extended family member pay for something or giving them some of that extra money
for whatever reason.
And that’s exactly how it should be! Money is meant to be shared with others…but…
what about you?
Why haven’t you bought or paid for something special just for you?
It is perfectly Okay to buy something for yourself. If you feel like you can’t because you
need permission, then I will give you permission. It doesn’t make you a selfish person,
if anything it makes you feel like you have value and you’re worth it.
Too many times women give and give and give to everybody else and then put them-
selves last, and still not giving themselves anything. Not a healthy way to live, that’s
Now with that permission you have to buy something for yourself, go and then do great
things with that extra money that you receive; whether it’s a one time amount or a monthly
amount. It’s all meant to be share, with YOU and others.
Did You Know That Your Life Is Like A Collage!
It’s true! Your life is made up of so many different things like; your
experiences, the good, the bad and the beautiful. Which is comprised
of your triumphs, losses, loves and more.
Just like a collage made of paper, cloth or wood, which by the way is
the definition of the word “collage”, the person creating the collage gets
to choose what they are going to add to their collage (a.k.a. ‘life’) to make
it colorful and memorable, making them want to look at it often.
The other beautiful part about life is that a person gets to choose to
leave out certain things if they want to like; things that are unhealthy or
Because your life resembles a collage that is made up of various elements,
what are you going to choose to add to you collage today and everyday?
So often, our finances become such a logical and boring thing that we have
to take care of, and it doesn’t have any creative element to it. It can also
become a drudgery depending on your thoughts and feelings towards it.
Since you have to take care of your finances on a continual basis you might
as well have some fun with it. Yes, it’s possible!
Here is what I mean.
Listed below are 5 things that you can do to get started:
1. Use colored pens when you’re logging or listing the bills that you have to pay
in a notebook.
2. Buy a pretty and/or colorful notebook to list all of your bills and financial
3. Create your own pretty and/or colorful notebook.
4. Use colored paper.
5. Use pictures of all kins to insert or adhere them to your notebook and the pages.
It doesn’t have to be hard or complicated, use a little bit of imagination and you’re
set to go. What might help you to do this kind of thing is to remember back when
you were a kid and did all kinds of creative things in school. There is no right or
wrong way to create it, remember it’s your notebook. The key is to just have fun
If it’s visually appealing to you, it might just take the ‘boring’ out of it.
Doing your finances doesn’t have to be boring.
There are so many families that are just struggling in so many different
ways. Struggling to get along, struggling to make ends meet, parents
working 2 or 3 jobs, and the list goes on.
Because money is such a major part of living and it is connected
to almost everything in our lives and a lot of times it becomes
very stressful, so, I wanted to share with you:
3 Things You Can Do Right Now To Strengthen Your Family
that doesn’t involve money.
1. Set a time once a week that you spend together
Now I know that once a week sounds like a lot, so just take it one step
at a time. Try it once and then work it from there.
Start by choosing an activity that everyone (or majority) wants to
participate in (I recommend having the activity at home or go to a
nearby park that you can walk to) remember that it shouldn’t involve
Some of the most wonderful things/activities do not involve money.
You might find that not every one is going to be on board with this idea.
Just stick to your guns and breathe, it will all be worth it!
You might have to start by having this activity for 15 to 30 minutes at first;
you never know what will happen. 15 to 30 minutes is better than not having
a family activity at all.
2. Write a note to your spouse and/or children
Letting them know something that you like or admire about them.
It doesn’t have to be long or poetic, it just needs to be honest.
You’ll be amazed at the kind of reaction you will get.
Doing things like that will melt any hard feelings pretty quickly.
3. Make a video or audio recording for your family
Now here is something really fun, make a video to your family
of you saying something nice to them or even singing a song.
People love watching videos now.
If you don’t have access to a video device of some kind then
you can make an audio recording instead.
There are free audio recording programs that you can download
onto your computer that will let you record anything at the click
of the mouse.
One free audio recording software that I’ve used is www.audacity.com.
One free video recording software that I’ve heard is good is
Sometimes just being funny or silly within a family creates a really
neat bond between each other.
I hope you really take to heart these 3 Things That You Can Do Right
Now To Strengthen Your Family. I know that they may not all be easy
to do at first, but just start with the one that you feel will be the easiest
for you to do. Then do the other two as soon as you can.
It will make your heart sing!
I wish you all the success possible! Remember, there’s strength in unity.
You are all creative. I hope you know that?
Especially as women, you are all given the ability
to create on every level there is.
You might think that you’re not creative just because
you don’t draw, paint or sculpt clay. Well, I’m here
to tell you that creativity and being creative does not
have anything to do with drawing, painting or sculpting
clay! Believe it or not.
You see, creativity comes in many forms. Most of the time it
is right in front of your eyes, but it may be in disguise.
You use your creative gifts everyday without even realizing it.
I write so much about creativity because most of the people
I talk to also seem to think that they are not creative. Go figure?
Why would you think about yourself like that?
I’ve had a lot of people tell me “I’m not creative” and I always
will say, “that’s not true!”
Many years ago, the word creativity was only used in the art
industry or if you or someone you know drew, painted or sculpted
Our world is changing so quickly these days, it’s amazing to see all
of the creativity out there in the world. Especially the computer industry
with all of the computer programs that are created everyday, the websites
and social media sites that are coming up in record numbers.
Pencils, paint and clay are not used to create all of those things, yet
the number one ingredient is creativity.
All of that takes creativity and the desire to create something.
Something that is unique or just because it’s what you want to do.
I have this really cool quote that I found many years ago.
I don’t know who said it, but I really like it.
And it goes like this …
“Creative people have a spark within them that warms them through
all seasons. It is the one human attribute that has the power to bring
a constant feeling of joyfulness within, on demand. Almost nothing
else in life can match it, and thankfully, creativity can be expressed
on any level, in a whole spectrum of ways.”
I know that this quote is so true, because I have seen it over and over
again for the last 22 years from my former students (ages 8 to 60 something
years old) while I was teaching sewing, craft and sewing/art classes.
So what form does your creativity come in, what warms your soul?
Is it story telling, writing, repurpose something or cooking? The list
This is what I would love for you to do every day from now on:
Start reminding yourself that you are creative and you
have the ability to create anything that your heart desires.
Do something creative everyday, something that you enjoy,
even if you only have 15 minutes to spare in your day. You’ll be
amazed at how much you can do in just 15 minutes a day.
That is how some of the most wonderful and amazing inventions were
created, a little every day, day by day.
Try it for yourself; you’ll be glad you did!
